Transfers
Starting transfers
Section titled “Starting transfers”- Drag files or folders between the local pane and a server, between Finder and a server, or between two servers.
- Use Upload to Remote on local files, or Download on remote ones.
Folders are transferred with everything inside them.
The queue
Section titled “The queue”Every transfer goes into one Transfers queue, shared by all servers, showing each file’s direction, progress and state: Queued, running, Paused, failed or Cancelled.
| Control | |
|---|---|
| Pause transfer / Resume transfer | stop and continue a transfer |
| Try again | retry a failed one |
| Cancel transfer | stop and drop it |
| Cancel All | everything still running or queued |
| Clear Completed | tidy the list |
Settings → General → Max Concurrent Transfers sets how many run at once (3 by default); the rest wait their turn.
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”Termini notifies you when transfers finish or fail — even when it’s in the background — and shows a badge on its Dock icon while transfers are running.
When something fails
Section titled “When something fails”The queue shows the error. The usual causes: no permission to write to the remote folder, a full disk, or a dropped connection. Fix it, then Try again.
