Termini
Jump hosts
Some servers can only be reached through another one — a bastion or jump host. Termini connects to the bastion first and opens the connection to the target through it, like OpenSSH’s ProxyJump.
Setting one up
Section titled “Setting one up”- Save the bastion as a host of its own.
- Edit the target host, and under Connect through pick the bastion instead of Directly.
- Connect to the target as usual.
Each host signs in with its own method: the bastion and the target can use different users and keys.
How it behaves
Section titled “How it behaves”- One connection per bastion. Two targets behind the same bastion share one connection to it.
- Closed with the last. When you close the last session that uses a bastion, its connection closes too.
- Clear errors. If either hop fails, the error names both hosts, so you know which one refused.
- No loops. The picker won’t let A go through B and B through A.
- Deleted jump host. If you delete a host another one goes through, connecting explains that its jump host is gone and offers to clear it.
From your SSH config
Section titled “From your SSH config”Importing ~/.ssh/config links each ProxyJump host to its imported bastion for you.
