Termini
Terminal settings
Settings → Terminal applies to every session, unless a host sets its own theme or font.
Palette
Section titled “Palette”Three palettes ship with Termini: Default, Termini Dark and Fleeq Black (near-black, to match the Fleeq interface theme). The preview under Palette shows each one. A terminal’s palette is independent of the interface theme: switching one never changes the other.
Choose the Font and Size; the preview shows the result. Any monospaced font installed on your Mac works.
Behaviour
Section titled “Behaviour”| Setting | Turn on when |
|---|---|
| Use ⌥ as Meta | you use Emacs-style shortcuts (⌥B, ⌥F) in the shell; Option then sends Esc-prefixed sequences instead of composing accented characters |
| Backspace sends ^H | a host expects ^H instead of DEL (some network gear and old systems) |
| Bold text uses bright colours | you want bold drawn brighter; off draws bold in the normal palette, as some prompts assume |
Scrollback
Section titled “Scrollback”Lines sets how many lines of output each session keeps — and therefore how far back search reaches. More lines use more memory per tab.
