Databases
Plans that include databases — WordPress, Node/Next.js, and Minecraft — can create them from the Databases tab. Plans lists how many each allows.
Creating one
Section titled “Creating one”Databases → New database: give it a name and, if you want to restrict it, the address allowed to connect (% means any). The panel creates the database and a user, and shows:
| Endpoint | the database host and port |
| Database | its full name (prefixed with your server’s ID) |
| Username | its user |
| Password | click to reveal; rotate it from here any time |
Using it
Section titled “Using it”Give those values to your software: WordPress’s setup screen, a Minecraft plugin’s config.yml, or your app’s .env:
DATABASE_URL=mysql://<username>:<password>@<endpoint>/<database>Your server reaches the database host directly. Keep the password in a config file on the server, never in code you publish.
Backing up a database
Section titled “Backing up a database”Server backups don’t include databases. Export one from wherever you can reach it, for example:
mysqldump -h <host> -P <port> -u <username> -p <database> > backup.sql
