The server won’t start, or stops right away

Section titled “The server won’t start, or stops right away”

Open the Console and read the last lines before it stopped — they almost always say why.

The panel shows Running when the software prints its ready line. If your server is actually up (players can join, the site answers) but the panel still says Starting, it’s cosmetic — but tell support so we can fix the marker.

For Node apps and bots, Running appears when Fleeq runtime ready is printed, after npm install finishes. A long install can take a minute.

  • Use the full address with the port, exactly as shown at the top of the server in the panel.
  • Is the server Running? A crashed server refuses connections.
  • Minecraft: is the player’s game version the same as the server’s (MINECRAFT_VERSION)?
  • Rust: the first boot takes about ten minutes.
